From Liz Gray 8/3/12:
Writing is like being a volley ball that perpetually gets spiked across the net. On one side you have a team with players with names such as Absolute Focus, Fierce Ambition, Flowing Words, Structure, and Extreme Organization. On the other side you have the team of players named Annoyances and Distractions, Blocked or Scattered Thoughts, Boring or Unclear Words. You are the ball trying to control your own bounce but sometimes you can’t. But you always know which side will let you hit the floor!
